Nuts

Many nut tree varieties are easy to grow and maintain, and make a fantastic feature in any British garden.  Although some varieties can grow to mammoth proportions, some can be carefully pruned and kept in check to an appropriate height, whilst still providing a plentiful crop. If growing space is limited, have a look at some of the compact varieties.

Nut trees often provide a spectacular show of blossom in Spring, before producing crops of tasty edible nuts later in the year. Many varieties attract bees and other pollinating insects and provide an excellent source of nectar.
