Cherries

Sweet cherries produce delicious fruit. Often grown as small trees, but can be trained as fans against walls and fences. They can also be grown in large containers. Acid cherries are self fertile, will tolerate some shade and are ideal for planting against a north-facing wall. Their fruits are excellent for cooking and make delicious jam.
