Conifers add colour and shape to any garden, and because they are mainly evergreen, will last the whole year! There is an amazing choice of shades, shapes and sizes ranging from tiny dwarfs to magnificent trees. Most are easy to look after, requiring little pruning and watering. They tend to be reasonably disease resistant but may need some attention during really cold spells.

Abies koreana Cis Conical form. Particularly bright golden new growth. Ideal for the rock or heather garden. All well drained moist fertile soil. Sun or semi-shade.		HEIGHT: 1m in 10 years.
Abies koreana Silberlocke A relatively slow growing upright pine with short curved silver needles. Suitable for rockeries. Plant in a moist well drained soil in sun or semi-shade.		HEIGHT: 1.5m in 10 years.
Abies koreana Silverpearl (Dwarf Korean Fir) A slow growing pyramid-shaped conifer with dark green foliage with silver undersides. Moist well-drained soils in sun or semi-shade.		HEIGHT: 30-40cm SPREAD: 30-40CM.
Abies lasiocarpa Compacta (Miniature Fir) An extremely miniature globose variety with dark glossy foliage, plant in a well-drained soil in full sun.		HEIGHT: 15-30cm.
Abies lasiocarpa Kenworth Blue A medium sized neat cone of green foliage with yellow markings which droops slightly. Plant in a well-drained soil in sun or partial shade.		HEIGHT: 7m. SPREAD: 3m
Abies nordmanniana Golden Spreader Dwarf, golden foliage. Suitable for rock gardens. Semi-shade in a well-drained LIME-FREE soil.		HEIGHT: 60-90cm SPREAD: 60-90cm in 10 years.
Abies pinsapo Glauca (Spanish Fir) Tapering pyramidal habit and soft powder-blue foliage. Purple brown cones. Sun or semi-shade in a well-drained soil.		HEIGHT: 3m. SPREAD: 1.5m in 10 years.
Abies procera Glauca (Weeping Blue Cedar) A beautiful spreading weeping tree. An ideal lawn specimen. Beautiful glaucous foliage. Plant in a moist well drained soil in sun or semi shade.		HEIGHT: 2m in 10 years
